Cabs are plentiful and inexpensive if you need to get somewhere faster. There is a newly constructed, extra-wide sidewalk that is handicap accessible and very well lit to lead you to Quinta Avenida (5th Ave) and the beach. Within blocks, you will find great local restaurants (a lot less expensive than 5th ave!) bars, grocery stores, and markets.
